Hmisc latex function
I'm using R 2.2.0 on an up-to-date version of Fedora Core 4 with the latest version of Hmisc. When I run an example from the latex function I get the following: > x <- matrix(1:6, nrow=2, dimnames=list(c('a','b'),c('c','d','enLine 2'))) > x c d enLine 2 a 1 3 5 b 2 4 6 > latex(x) # creates x.tex in working directory sh:

when to save, session reflect saves?
...o session? Is the session a pointer to an object or a separate store of data? Thanks in advance... (I am suspecting that I can bag the save but need to refresh the session information but I''m curious whether I should do a save for good measure, whether an extra save is wasteful, badform, slovenly yada yada (same with session)) -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Hi, The following command: R CMD Rd2pdf --no-preview --output=./tmp.pdf --title=test genefu-package.Rd run against this file: https://hedgehog.fhcrc.org/bioconductor/trunk/madman/Rpacks/genefu/man/genefu-package.Rd (username: readonly; password: readonly) produces a very verbose error (see below) with R version 2.15.0 alpha (2012-03-07 r58622). [Hmisc] Latex to pdf
I would like to print some tables and figures to a PDF device on a CentOS 5 vps. However, I cannot seem to get the latex function from Hmisc working. I followed the example, and got an error: sh: xdvi: command not found. I tried installing the 'tetex-xdvi' linux package, and now it returns: Error: Can't open display. I guess the reason for this is that the machine is a VPS terminal, so

glm
Hi to all, So I'm also a new user. I downloaded the program last week and I think it's great. Thanks to those who have developed R. I have a special interest in GLM as a tool to describe fisheries and its variables and I'm just begging to study it. As I could understand there's two types of GLM sun of squares: in "type I" the factors are added in sequence and

methods in models dont work for views?
...ame + " " + last_name end What goes on with the name space issue if I made the two slightly different? Would the collection_for_select start looking at the controller action instead? I suppose I don''t really have a problem but duplicating the little method strikes me as a bit slovenly. Would putting it in the helper area change anything? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Need Help: User Defined R Functions in Sweave/Latex
Dear all, I want to start my post by expressing my sincere gratitude for all the help this group has given me in Sweave/Latex/R. The tools are excellent and so is the community! On to the question. My Sweave code is intended to make lots of plots and create a *.pdf document. Sweave is perfect for this. The only problem is that I find myself using the same R code, within my Sweave input file

Looking for tor users experiencing crashes
I've had an informal, third or fourth hand report of kernel instability when running Tor under load on unidentified versions of FreeBSD. Obviously, this is a bit vague as bug reports go, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone has had real experience with this happening, and might be interested in helping to track it down. If there are kernel crashes, I'm specifically looking for

[PATCH] doc: fix out-of-tree build
When building outside of the source tree, the Doxyfile needs to be generated in the build tree and should point to the proper paths for include directories and html footer. The generated api files to install should also be taken from the build tree instead of the source tree. --- configure.ac | 1 + doc/Doxyfile | 1220 --------------------------------------------------
