[PATCH] firstboot: rename systemd service file
...firstboot. On systems where systemd is the init system and runs with the SysV compatibility, the different names make systemd handle them as different services, and thus trying to run the firstboot script runner twice. Rename the systemd service to virt-sysprep-firstboot as well: other than being sligtly less generic, it is also shadowed by the SysV service, and thus run just once. To avoid leaving the old systemd service behind, a simple cleanup strategy is in place, checking the content of the old firstboot.service to really ensure we are removing one of our versions of this file. --- customi...

Bug in ftable?? (Was: Two-way tables of data, etc)
Further to the discussion between Murray Jorgensen and Brian Ripley, it seems to me better to choose tabulations that will not come and bite you. Suppose your data are sligtly irregular, e.g. (for the sake of the argument): data( warpbreaks ) warpbreaks$variant <- rep( 1:5, len=54 ) attach( warpbreaks ) tb <- table( wool, tension, variant ) tb # in this case you would like to see: tp <- tapply( breaks, list( wool, tension, variant ), mean ) tp # and hardly...

[PATCH 1/3] Only peek and discard packets from specified device.
This patch fixes a bug on systems with multiple connected network devices. As packet_peek uses all devices to receive data instead of a specific device. As the return value was never reset it was possible that packets from other devices were returned by packet_peek. That means that the ifindex did not match any ifindex of the specified devices the packet was never removed and packets for the

lme syntax for P&B examples
Hi helpeRs, I've been working through some examples in Pinhiero & Bates( 2000) trying to understand how to translate to the new Lme4 syntax but without much luck. Below is what I think I should do, but either the answers don't come out the same or I get errors. In the Oxide problems I'm particularly interested in obtaining the levels coeficients but this options no longer seems

[PATCH RFC (resend) net-next 0/6] virtio-net: Add support for virtio-net header extensions
Curreclty virtion net header is fixed size and adding things to it is rather difficult to do. This series attempt to add the infrastructure as well as some extensions that try to resolve some deficiencies we currently have. First, vnet header only has space for 16 flags. This may not be enough in the future. The extensions will provide space for 32 possbile extension flags and 32 possible

[PATCH v8 0/7] virt-builder-repository tool
Hi all, Here is the latest iteration on the virt-builder-repository series. Diffs to previous version are: fixing things mentioned by Pino, integrate Pino's osinfo ocaml iterator and adding a check of the mime type to filter potential image files. Cédric Bosdonnat (6): builder: rename docs test script builder: add a template parameter to get_index builder: add Index.write_entry
