After upgrading XP to SP2, I can no longer connect to server aliases. The client reports an error 53, "The network path was not found", when doing "net use * \\prof\profile. The "hide unreadable = yes" option gives strange results with samba 3.x. Everything works fine when the server runs as a domain controller. Users see the directories they are supposed to (unix group permission) in the share. I have a new Debian testing machine running the Debian Samba 3.0.5. Everything seems OK except that I cannot get users to have domain admin rights. I have Windows XP workstations.
