UID and GID mapping throw DC and Member DC
What do you mean with different winbinds? I can destroy the member server, its on testing. It is for the version of windbind? I can get this from DC. But I can not do the same with DC. UID and GID mapping throw DC and Member DC
After tried to solve the problem with "getent", I found another problem with the Member server. The member server works well, but the "uid" and "gid" mapping for users its incorrect. In the DC the "UID" "GID" its around 3000085 In the Member Server its around 2000 - 3000 For example: ADDC Server. --------------------- root at ACDC:/# wbinfo

[PATCH 4/4] drm/nouveau: introduce CPU cache flushing macro

Effectively this turns nvbo into an uncached buffer. With additional overhead of constantly flushing caches. Wouldn't it make more sense to locate the places where these are called and flush the cache after all the writes have completed? Thierry -------------- next part --------------...

Problems with routing to VPN appliance
Our setup: server running shorewal 4.5.2.2 and watchguard vpn appliance. VPN appliance was supplied by our document flow provider. I want to route traffic to 192.168.2.0/24 via 10.10.10.1 gateway. So I thought it would be a good idea to set it up as another ISP in the providers file. But when I enable it I can reach 192.168.2.0/24 subnet but not internet. Can you please tell what I am doing

Stop an action ?
Hi. I am working on a generic authentification system for rails (more complete than the login generator). The way it works is you call a method inside your action, passing the domain as a parameter (domains are like a group of users with specific rights). For that purpose, I need to exit the action inside this method because it redirects to a login page if that person isn''t

Creating new columns inside a loop
Ok, I know R isn't an optimal environment for looping (or so I've heard) but I have a need to loop through columns of data and create new columns of data based on calculations within rows... I'm sure there's a help file, but I'm not sure what search terms to use to find it! The problem is that these new columns need to have names that I can later access... Like NewVar1,

(slightly OT) Reporting tools (Jasper, DataVision, etc.)
We''re evaluating reporting tools right now, both open source and closed. I saw that a bunch of people on this list have considered Jasper/iReport -- is this coincidence, or is this the best open source report writer right now? The proprietary tool we''re comparing them to is Crystal Reports. Reports will need to be editable by end users, and they''re running Mac OS

Any api (agi/ari/ami) equivalent of "core show calls"?
Wow! I've been *-ing for about 6 years and had literally no idea about that! I can see a way I could put it to a different use, but it seems to be a bit of a sledgehammer to crack the walnut of "how many current callers" compared to one line of (albeit hacky) dialplan. That's making me sound ungrateful. I don't mean to be! On Sun, 14 Jun 2020, 22:39 Steve Edwards, <asterisk.org at sedwards.com> wrote: > On Sun, 14 Jun 2020, Jonathan H...

Clients send tons of Notiftication requests
I have been trying to help Luca on the QNAP forum since I have the same NAS. It reports smbd version 4.7.12. I have not had any issues, but I am in a Mac/Linux environment only. In Luca?s case, he is using NFS (not sure what version) on his Mac and I initially thought that maybe it was initiating change notifications somehow. Possible?

Adding DND to dialplan
...#39; - - - Any tips? All I really want to do is turn off the ringers / do not ring extenstions when I've activated DND. Right now I'm just using a hack which is to shutdown asterisk altogether when I don't want the phones to ring, which of course also prevents dialing out, it's a sledgehammer approach and I'm looking for something more typical.

[LLVMdev] About clock and wait instruction
...his call-a-null-function trick... Yet, one could argue that there're plenty of legitimate optimization opportunities where memory references can be reordered, squashed, hoisted across basic blocks or even function calls (IOW turning off certain aggressive optimizations altogether might be a sledgehammer approach). I'm geting this nagging feeling that there may need to be a mechanism where special annotations need to be placed in LLVM instruction stream to ensure safe optimizations.... Someone please tell me my concerns are totally unfounded, atleast for LLVM :-) - Vipin

Cannot remove lvs associated with deleted vm guests
At the beginning of January I encountered a problem where several vm guests on a single host somehow managed to see the the virtual disks assigned to other guests on the same hosts. I was unable to resolve this situation and shutdown the affected guests after creating new guest instances and moving the services and data off the corrupted guests. I have since removed these guests via virt-manager
