I'm thinking, the above if statement should have one additional and case for !slaveMode, so that it can be run as a back-end even though the terminal is not interactive. Either that, or I can somehow install an error handler and this code will be avoided. I can do the patch for this, unless someone has a better way to fix it. Let me know what you think.
