Building zaptel on x86_64
I've searched thru the archives here, and am not seem much related to 64 bit builds (at least according to subject lines), so apologizes if somebody already addressed this issue and I didn't see it. I am running Slamd64 on a Xeon 2.8 with EM64T. I am using kernel 2.6.12.2, which is configured for SMP. I cannot build zaptel 1.0.9, or CVS HEAD that I just downloaded today (2005-07-14). I get the following errors: make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.12.2' CC [M] /usr/local/src/zaptel-1.0.9/za...

Compiling on AMD64 with a cross-compiler
Hello. I'm still trying to get the latest (post 0.9.60) wine releases to build on my laptop; it is a SlAMD64 installation. I used to compile ok up to 0.9.60; then from 0.9.61 on it refused to compile. I tried lately to compile this way: CFLAGS="-I/test/alsa/lib32/include" \ LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib -Wl,-rpath-link,/usr/lib -L/test/alsa/lib32/lib -Wl,-rpath-link,/test/alsa/lib32/lib" \ CC...

Once again... strange StarCraft battlenet issue.
Hi everybody, I know this problem have been posted a few times, but that one is a bit different and seems to be still unresolved. I use Wine 1.0 on my laptop with 2 operating systems (Slamd64 Linux and MS Windows XP). When I play StarCraft on Battlenet under Windows it's all perfect, but when I run it with wine - there are huge lags which make the game unplayable. Computer is conected by a Linksys router (wrt54gc), but Windows doesn't have any problems with that! I tried to run...

[Bug 11906] New: X server does not start with nouveau driver
...vo.ru QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org I try to run x.org with nouveau driver but it does not start since it cannot load dri extention. The dri module is disabled in xorg.conf but driver anyway tries to load it. I compiled and installed git versions of drm, xf86-video-nouveau, mesa on slamd64-current linux distribution (64 bit), linux-2.6.22.1. Proper drm and nouveau kernel modules are loaded. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

OpenVPN, proxy ARP for an entire subnet (Linux endpoints)
"A Tale of TTL Troubles" I was hired to implement VPN for a subnet. The owner has a /27 at his home site, and he wanted to have the machines there answering BOTH on those IP addresses and some addresses at a remote colocation provider. Make sense? Not to me either. :( I think he''s trying to fool his customers into thinking he has a physical presence in the colocation city.

fsck in startup scripts
Thanks for a great file system! I have a two-node cluster working as a HA NFS server. This system has worked fine for almost a year, but recently I found that an ocfs2 file system had been corrupted and needed to be repaired with fsck.ocfs2. Even though I don't think that any data was lost I found that 4 of my 14 ocfs2 partitions had some errors which were corrected by fsck.ocfs2. I then

Corrupted transaction log file / record size too small
...I've been working around the problem by deleting the contents of ~user/.imap for affected users, but I'd really prefer to fix it properly. :-) Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
