PDC and concurrent logins
Hello!
I am using samba running as a PDC at our school. I have read many docs and
howtos but I can't find anything about Concurrent logins. I would be a
nice feature becouse I don't want my users to login more than one time. Is
there anyone that does have a clue?
Greetings from Sweden

is extensible and very simple.
The change amounts to modifying two lines of code in
send_client_banner and passing the hostname as function
argument where it is now necessary. No server side changes
are needed.

server, it will always use the same agent for both purposes.
Has there been any attempt to make it possible for the ssh
command to use two different agents, such that I can use one
agent to authenticate and then forward a different agent to
the server?

That sentence I did not understand. Could you elaborate
or explain it differently?

Is it deliberate that OpenSSH doesn't do what RFC 4253
says MUST be done?
I am still pondering on whether there are other ways to
get the hostname communicated across to the server without
breaking the integrity of the connection.

a proxy on a dual stack host. But the proxy only has a
single IPv4 address. Clients connect to this address, and
the proxy performs a DNS lookup to find the IPv6 address
which this client wants to connect to. Currently this works
for HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, and DNS.

asking you to.

The question then is, would the security implications of
adding these three lines be much worse than my original
patch?

announce: survival5 bug fix
Anyone using the penalised partial likelihood routines in survival5 should
update their version.
A bug has been fixed in the S package: in coxph() models with penalised
likelihood and strata it was possible in some circumstances to get an
infinite loop or perhaps an incorrect answer.
The new version (2.3) is on cran.r-project.org and will percolate through
CRAN in the next few days.

WMF on Unix
A few of you have helpfully sent me references to WMF formats.
There is also some code to _read_ it at
http://www.csn.ul.ie/~caolan/docs/libwmf.html
However, the issue is to _write_ WMF on R under Unix. I am told (by
someone who has tried) that the problem is the if you write a WMF
file according to the published specs (which were once issued
by Microsoft) you find that e.g. Word does not read

If /home/peter/sbin/netscape is already running, it is *not* restarted,
and you must switch to its window.
Otherwise, be patient..

I just want to know if anybody did this already, so I don't
waste my time reinventing the wheel.
