curious behavior
...can get access whilst others cant. The curious thing is that this setup worked happily for some months and then, suddenly, it doesn't. I am now forced to list the users indivdually . attaching xp machine to existing domain
...mes of six others xp machines attached to the same domain using the same method , I cant see why number 7 should cause me this much grief. Hopefully there is an easy fix for this problem. .../etc/samba/smbpasswd root and entered the same password. Unfortunately no joy. using redhat9 and samba 3.02 I am reluctant to experiment much as this is a "live" system . Centos 7 - iptables service failed to start
Hello all: I did a fresh install of CentOS 7 on a new machine. I wrote /usr/local/bin/firewall.stop to remove all the firewall rules. Root Password not taking
In one of my center , its not taking root password. Anyways to recover it ? In other terms , I lost the control of server. Any solution or re-installation is the only way left ?
