[PATCH nbdkit 0/2] Temporarily remove .list_exports for nbdkit 1.22
If you're following nbdkit development upstream you'll have seen that we are still making changes to the .list_exports and related APIs. The current .list_exports API upstream is not how it will look finally. The latest set of proposals was here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2020-August/thread.html#00330 At the same time I'd like to do an nbdkit 1.22 (stable) release.

[nbdkit PATCH 0/5] Implement .default_export, nbdkit_string_intern
More patches on the way for improving .list_exports signature and adding .export_description, but this is the promised code showing why nbdkit_string_intern is useful. Patch 4 is somewhat RFC: we could either add new API to take the boilerplate from: foo_config(const char *key, const char *value) { if (strcmp (key, "file") == 0) { CLEANUP_FREE char *tmp = nbdkit_realpath (value);

[PATCH -tip RFC v2 00/22] kprobes: introduce NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() and general cleaning of kprobe blacklist
Currently the blacklist is maintained by hand in kprobes.c which is separated from the function definition and is hard to catch up the kernel update. To solve this issue, I've tried to implement new NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() macro for making kprobe blacklist at build time. Since the NOKPROBE_SYMBOL() macros can be placed right after the function is defined, it is easy to maintain. This series

[nbdkit PATCH v2 0/8] exportname filter
This is a revision of my .default_export work, plus new work on .export_descriptions and a new exportname filter. I think it is now ready to check in. Things I'd still like in 1.22: - the file plugin should implement .list_exports (patch already posted, but it needs rebasing on this series) - the ext2 filter should override .list_exports when in exportname mode - the nbd plugin should be

[PATCH v2 00/12] Allow APIs to be implemented in OCaml.
Version 1 was here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-June/msg00003.html This patch series reimplements a few more APIs in OCaml, including some very important core APIs like ?list_filesystems? and ?mount?. All the tests pass after this. The selection of APIs that I have moved may look a little random, but in fact they are all APIs consumed by the inspection code (and some more

[nbdkit PATCH v3 00/14] exportname filter
It's been several weeks since I posted v2 (I got distracted by improving libnbd to better test things, which in turn surfaced some major memory leak problems in nbdsh that are now fixed). Many of the patches are minor rebases from v2, with the biggest changes being fallout from: - patch 2: rename nbdkit_add_default_export to nbdkit_use_default_export - overall: this missed 1.22, so update

[RFC] btrfs-progs: fix sparse checking and warnings
Hi gang, I was a little surprised to see that patch go by recently which fixed an endian bug. I went to see how sparse checking looked and it was.. broken. I got it going again in my Fedora environment. Most of the patches are just cleanups, but there *were* three real bugs lurking in all that sparse warning spam. So I maintain that it''s worth our time to keep it going and fix

[PATCH v3 00/19] Allow APIs to be implemented in OCaml.
v2 was here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-June/msg00008.html This series gets as far as a working (and faster) reimplementation of ‘guestfs_list_filesystems’. I also have another patch series on top of this one which reimplements the inspection APIs inside the daemon, but that needs a bit more work still, since inspection turns out to be a very large piece of code. Rich.

[PATCH v3 00/23] Reimplement many daemon APIs in OCaml.
I think this fixes everything mentioned: - Added the Optgroups module as suggested. - Remove command temporary files. - Replace command ~flags with ?fold_stdout_on_stderr. - Nest _with_mounted function. - Rebase & retest. Rich.

[PATCH 00/27] Reimplement many daemon APIs in OCaml.
Previously posted as part of the mega utilities/inspection series here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-June/msg00232.html What I've done is to extract just the parts related to rewriting daemon APIs in OCaml, rebase them on top of the current master, fix a few things, and recompile and test everything. Rich.
