R package-building
Hello, I am building a package to read in a pretty common atmospheric data format and create a SKEW-T, log p diagram (also very common for the atmospheric community). The problem is this: How should one address the (ASCII) data files so that the examples find them? I have read through the "Writing R Extensions" document and still have a problem. There seems to be some sort of

power law distribution; making new distributions
hi i have data which i think is coming from a power law distribution P(X > a) = c/a^k and i would like to find the exponent and constant. i would like it to use my experimental data to find c and k. also, if i would like to create a new distribution, is it easy to add to R, if so, how is that done? thanks -gong __________________________________
