NETATALK support removed in SAMBA 2.0.3?!
...se samba as a domain controller, or link its
permissions and security model with an NT server's in any way [one of the
happy things samba is allowing for us, is to eliminate all NT Servers from
our network YAY!]. I'd just like for "modern" permissions control, rather
than the skanky DOS read-only/system/hidden stuff. I just want for NT
clients to be able to set group/user permissions "normally" on the samba
server.

[PATCH/RFC OSSTEST] Debian PV netboot guest test
I''ve been working on this on the odd occasion, I think it mostly works,
or it did last I tried which was a while back. I''m sure it is too hacky
in places. My plan was to clean it up on the next test day.
I''m mostly just sending this for Wei''s benefit since he is independently
looking at adding Debian HVM guest tests for OVMF purposes.

[PATCH 8/8] 2.6.17: scan DMI early
While shuffling quite a few things around, this gets us closer to native,
which clearly had a reason to do the DMI scan early.

[PATCH] XML-RPC: Cope with large integers on x86-64 systems
Attached patch fixes a problem in marshaling large integers. It seems
to only occur on systems with very large memory. However, on those
systems, it''s a show-stopper. I see this as a temporary solution until
we can sanitize the XML-RPC functions and get rid of all the
S-Expression stuff.
I''ll run xm-test tomorrow against it. Right now I''ve only done basic

RFC: [0/2] Remove netloop by lazy copying in netback
Hi Keir:
These two patches remove the need for netloop by performing the
copying in netback and only if it is necessary. The rationale
is that most packets will be processed without delay allowing
them to be freed without copying at all. So instead of copying
every packet destined to dom0 we''ll only copy those that linger
longer than a specified amount of time (currently 0.5s).

PCI passthrough issue
Hello,
I''m facing a strange issue with network card PCI passthrough on my
openwrt test domU.
- With network PCI passthrough, DNS lookup failed for some domains
(exemple, google.com) but not for other (free.fr my ISP, or my domain
jbfavre.org). I can ping an IP address without any problem.
- Starting domU as a "normal" (ie without PCI passthrough), no problem.
As far as I can
