osx and icecast
I've got two quick q's about icecast. If these two q's have already
been answered, could someone let me know when so I know where to look
in the archives?
Here's the siutation. Macamp has now gone bunk and I need to broadcast
my dj show from my home to a server that has NullSoft shoutcast. The
dj's normally use winamp's shoutcast plugin to broadcast to the
shoutcast server.
Q1) Is ICECAST the program I need to send my signal to another
sever... or is it IceS tha...

GlusterFS 3.8 Debian 8 apt repository broken
I managed to workaround this issue by addding "[arch=amd64]" to my apt source list for gluster like this:
deb [arch=amd64] http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/3.8/3.8.14/Debian/jessie/apt jessie main
In case that can help any others with the same siutation (where they also have i386 arch enabled on the computer).

GlusterFS 3.8 Debian 8 apt repository broken
Hello,
I want to upgrade from 3.8.11 to 3.8.14 on my Debian 8 (jessie) servers but it looks like the official GlusterFS apt repository has a mistake as you can see here:
Get:14 http://download.gluster.org jessie InRelease [2'083 B]
Get:15 http://download.gluster.org jessie/main amd64 Packages [1'602 B]

Samba / Networking trouble since latest windows update
...normal levels and are not even close to 50% -
we routinely rsync several gigabytes of data from these servers to our
main Solaris box every day and this also seems to be unaffected.
Has anyone heard any other reports of network problems with this update?
I appreciate it's a bit of a difficult siutation to fully understand to
people outside of Newcastle University, but it would really help if
anyone had heard of anything related to this security update, or
problems it has caused.
I'm under the impression that this windows update has changed some
settings in or the registry on all client machi...

H.323 ( HW PBX to *)

Tell Asterisk whether or not to accept Gatekeeper routed calls or not.
Normally
this should always be set to yes, unless you want to have finer control

AllowGKRouted = yes

Default context gets used in siutations where you are using the GK

invalid
message or to simply not use user authentication at all.
Thanks in advance.

Digium T100P T1 Card
Hello All,
I could use a recommendation if anyone has a moment. I have the T100P but I have not gotten my service yet. I want to have at least 12 lines of digital voice with DID. Should I just seek out a PRI ISDN provider or is there something else I should look for? I want to keep cost as low as possible. Also, I want to own my own router for the phones since it is always a hassle to get

sip over h323
Hi List,
we are using openh323 gatekeeper for voip telefony. We also have a voip
over ss7 TELES Switch for voip into POSTN Network. Know we want to use
Asterisk for converting SIP to h323.
Now my question. Is Asterisk an full h323 gatekeeper like openh323? Do
we need openh323 GK for astrerisk, too?. And how can i tell asterisk
to sent all none SIP-ip calls to the gatekeeper over h323?
thx
