Bootstrap and Jackknife Bias using Survey Package
Dear R users,
I?m student of Master in Statistic and Data analysis, in New University of Lisbon. And now i?m writting my dissertation in variance estimation. So i?m using Survey Package to compute the principal estimators and theirs variances.
My data is from Incoming and Expendire Survey. This is stratified Multi-stage Survey care out by National Statistic Institute of Mozambique. My domain of

2 internet connections and one for backup
I've got 2 internet connections but unfortunately not the same - 6mbit and 1 mbit. My default is 6mbit and I want to create backup connection (1mbit). How can do it? Has anybody done it? My perfect scenario is that my network uses 1mbit if (only) 6mbit fails and it switches automatically.

testing for significantly different slopes
Hi,
How would one go about determining if the slope terms from an analysis of
covariance model are different from eachother?
Based on the example from MASS:
library(MASS)
# parallel slope model
l.para <- lm(Temp ~ Gas + Insul, data=whiteside)
# multiple slope model
l.mult <- lm(Temp ~ Insul/Gas -1, data=whiteside)
# compare nested models:
anova(l.para, l.mult)
