User Authentication and Authorization with SiteMinder
Hi All I am new the RoR and would like some advice on how to integrate SiteMinder authentication/authorization in my Rails app. For those who are not aware SiteMinder authenticates users and then redirects the user back to the application that requested authentication while setting response header which look something like this cn=ROWRACCEPTED,ou=status,ou=wr,ou=apps,dc=dev,dc...

Odd problem with updates to the recent CR

Ask me how much I think of SiteMinder... offlist, if you want the rant.... mark !@#$@!#$!@#~!@

problems with apache downgrade
There was an upgrade on a couple of our servers yesterday, mid-afternoon our time, of httpd and httpd-devel, and suddenly SiteMinder (bleah) stopped working correctly, and is now pegging a cpu, according to top. So, as a last resort, I tried downgrading both of them. When I did so, the server that uses ssl *erased* mod-ssl, not downgrading it, and I'll have to find where I can get the previous version tomorrow... but that sh...

Odd problem with updates to the recent CR
We started updating via CR over a week ago, before 6.7 was official, and just today identified an issue.... For (alleged) security, the agency I work as a contractor for runs SiteMinder, from CA. #insert rant_against_CA.h Anyway, starting late last week, we found issues - as in, its process, which runs under, and is started by, apache, was suddenly pegging a CPU or so. Trying to stop httpd, that worked... but this idiot process never did (and it's ugly to clean up after). W...

Issues trying to change the selinux context
We're forced to use Siteminder, by CA, who have no clue what they're doing in *nix. No packages, tarballs... Anyway, I'm trying clean up some stuff, and in /*/smwa/webagent/bin (all their binaries, including .so's, are in there, duh... I'm trying to set the .so's to lib_t. semanage -fcontext -a -t lib_t &quo...

pcifront (CONFIG_XEN_PCIDEV_FRONTEND=m) support in RHEL 4.5 x86 Dom U
...hipped with RHEL 5 to boot the RHEL 4.5 guest. To do this, however, I have to upgrade the glibc, udev, initscripts, and other core packages in RHEL 4.5 guest. This makes the RHEL 4.5 effectively NOT a RHEL 4.5 anymore. I have to stick to production requirements as Symantec ESM, SCSP, Antivirus, and siteminder agent may not work with a newer GLIBC and kernel. Have an incompatible GLIBC may cause segmentation faults with certain softwares. Please advise me on what I should do. Thank you very much. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http...

Data migration from one server to another- Centos 7
I want to move all my OS, services like Apache configuration and application (web server) files and folders to another brand new server. Both servers are running on Centos 7. i want to clone everything. My questions 1- what is the easiest way to do this? 2- do I need to partition hard-drive of new server exactly as old one? 3- Is there any changes to make on new server after full migration? 4-
