v1.0.0 released
http://dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.0.tar.gz http://dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.0.tar.gz.sig It took almost 5 years, but it's finally ready. I'm not expecting to release v1.0.1 anytime soon, unless someone's been sitting on a major bug just waiting for v1.0 to be released. :) People wanting new features should start testing the upcoming v1.1. http://dovecot.org/nightly/ contains now snapshots from CVS HEAD. It already has tons of new features. I've been using it myself for half a year, so it should be most...

grub problems
This is irritating: I've got a server I just upgraded to 5.4, then rebooted, only to discover that it just *sits* there at the grub boot menu. I looked at grub.conf, and uncommented hiddenmenu (which should have been done long ago). It *still* sits there when I reboot. Any clues, folks? mark grub.conf: #boot=/dev/sda default=0 timeout=5 splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz hiddenmenu title Cent...

Free sitting
Hello, How would you implement free sitting ? The idea is to offer teachers the ability to share the same desk and hardphone : for instance, Mr Foo is teaching mechanics on mondays while Mr Bar is teaching english on wednesdays. Each has his own extension but use the same hardphone. 1. Does a program check a calendar or database somewh...

SIT tone detection on Zap channel (PRI)
Is it possible to detect SIT tones on an outbound call? Specifically this is for an outbound call generated via a .call file over a PRI. I get answer supervision when the SIT tone starts and Asterisk believes this is a successful call. I'm using Asterisk 1.4.6. Thank you! -------------- next part ------...

Autotest just sits there
...his problem for a while. autotest has never worked properly for me. I have tried different versions of rspec with different versions of ZenTest. I have tried it with .autotest files and without. When I run autotest from my rails app root, it says: loading autotest/rails_rspec and then it just sits there. If I look at the output from autotest -v, it is traversing the tree and it knows how to handle my source and specs, but it never seems to do anything. Thoughts? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

How to combine/join/merge etc PCA and Cluster?
...locations from different ecosystems are arranged in the same group. So, I want to plot together PCA and Clusters, in a such way that locations belonging to the same ecosystem are displayed with the same COLORS, and locations grouped in the same cluster, have the same SHAPE. For example: I have 1 site from Savanna and 1 site from Serengeti that are in the same cluster, Thus I would like to plot both with different colors blue and green, respectively due different ecosystem classification and with the same shape (triangle) because they are in the same group. So, I would have a cluster with 2 tr...

Carbon R 1.5.1 + Bioconductor released
I have built and uploaded to CRAN the Carbon version of R for MacOS/MacOSX. You'll find the base set (rm151.sit) and the recommended packages (recommended.sit) separately or all in one single file (rm151_FULL.sit) on CRAN and their mirrors soon. I have also built the Bioconductor suite of packages (corresponding to the Bioconductor_1.0.tgz file) as it seems to be one of the most appealing packages for M...

[RFC] Are patches sitting too long in the tracker - PatchRails to the rescue?
...ring questions on the mailing list, writing something on the wiki and spread the word of rails to friends and colleagues. Lately I tried to give some feedback to different tickets on dev.rubyonrails.org. But enough of this shoulder padding myself... As I''ve said I''m not in a position that allows me to make big contributions. Looking at the list of pending patches and reading the linked post by andreas I get the impression that many others *are* in a position of making significant commitments *but maybe will get upset when patches are sitting in the tracker for ages*.
