PJSIP/SIPAddHeader etc
Hi everyone I’m building an Asterisk 16/PJSIP server and my dialplan uses SIPAddHeader & SIPRemoveHeader but the apps don’t appear to be installed in v16. Can anyone tell me where they went and how to get them installed please? Thanks Mark. Aastra - Alert-Info : how to stop auto-answer on call second leg ?
...h a distant party (ie through PSTN) The trouble is when 2 Aastra are calling each other over the LAN, this single statement is memorized somehow and both phones (caller and callee) auto-answer. Is there a way to "cancel" this auto-answer feature on the second leg of a call, either with a SIPRemoveHeader-like application or using something like (before dialing the second leg) : SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: info=alert-noautoanswer); I've tried many things unsuccessfully such as: SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: info=alert-community-1); (From an old doc) Best regards -------------- next part ----...

I can add a custom Contact header in the dialplan with SipAddHeader, but then I have two. SipRemoveHeader only removes headers previously added by SipAddHeader, so no luck there. I have googled, and searched the asterisk-users mailing list archives and not yet found a solution. I did see some work back in 2004 (issues 732 and 777) which mentioned not stripping contact header parameters from arr...

But removing Sip headers which are set from the stack itself not by yourself could lead to a really mess. Maybe you should try to find another way to solve this, like setting the CALLERID(num-pres)=allowed, this should also remove the privacy:id header flag. best r...

2. Re: Does Asterisk support remove header from sip message?
Hi, Stefan, Thanks for your reply. " SipRemoveHeader " is a good application to remove the header added by "SipAddHeader" application. If the header is included in the receiving message by Asterisk(not added by "SipAddHeader"), can it be removed?
