Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ?
Hi,
In this thread
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-October/219592.html ,
I wondered whether SIPPEER curcalls was working.
I could test this anew today. Here are my findings :
Alice, Bob and Carol ar all using SIP Phones.
Whenever Alice is calling Bob,
- if Carol is calling Alice, SIPPEER(Alice:curcalls) equals 0
- if Carol is calling Bob, SIPPEER(Bob:curcalls) equals 1
(Whenever Bob is calli...

Is SIPPEER curcalls working for you ? [SOLVED]

I didn't.
Now I did and it's working the way I wanted.
Meanwhile, I had found a (complex) workaround using GROUP, GROUP_COUNT and
SIPPEER but limitonpeers is much more concise.
Thanks a lot.

Realtime difference sipusers sippeers
Hi,
I would have expected that peers of type friend ( for example an
SIP-phone) registring at Asterisk will be searched in sipusers.
But the peers will be searched in sippeers.
May be sombody can explain the difference?
Asterisk 1.4

Using SIPPEER status with CUT function?
Hi All,
I'm using Asterisk 1.4 branch and checking the status of some SIP
Peers with the functions ${SIPPEER(101:status)} and the result is "OK
(48 ms)". Seems to work fine.
Now I would like to use the function CUT to set a variable with the
'OK' portion of the status "OK (48 ms)" and then do some follow on
stuff if the status is OK.
I'm running into syntax errors in the...

Manager API - standardization?
...nager interface and send query strings back and forth all
day long, but I'm having issues when it comes to parsing the return data.
My issue isn't a PHP one, but rather issues with the consistency of the
Manager interface return values.
For instance, for the built in actions such as Login, SIPPeers, QueueStatus
(the three that I will be calling the most) NONE of those three has a
standard return value. Login doesn't return an Event: LoginComplete flag,
so the login function can't use the generic Action function I've written.
SIPPeers returns an additional line after Event: Peerl...

SIPPEER equivalent for users.conf ?
Hi,
In sip.conf, it's possible to add a line such as
setvar=MYFIELD=foo
and access this value from diaplan with SIPPEER function.
1. Which function is available to access values in users.conf such as
vmsecret ?
2. Is it possible to extend users.conf with custom keys/values ?
Regards.

Red: Sip Phone CID
Here is what I have in my extensions.conf file now. Trustrcid and
sendrcid are turned to "yes" in the conf file.
I'm not fully sure how the SIPCalledRPID works though. The example I
found seems to try and provide the stuff automatically (id and name),
but does the SIPPEER stuff even exist?
I think this is probably the right track though. Any insight would be
much appreciated.

Asterisk perl AGI confusing variables
Hello all,
I'm struck with a very strange problem today. I've an AGI with some code
subroutine snippet as follows:
sub enable_sbc($) {
my $carrier = shift;
my $tmp = substr($carrier,1);
my $jkh = $tmp;
$server_port = $ast_agi->get_variable("SIPPEER($jkh,port)");
$ser_ip = $ast_agi->get_variable("SIPPEER($tmp,ip)");
$ast_agi->exec("SIPAddHeader","P-PORT: $server_port");
$ast_agi->exec("SIPAddHeader","P-IPADDRESS: $ser_ip");
return 0;

Realtime & sippeers using NAT
I'm running sippeers and sipusers in my extconfig, and everything runs
perfectly when a client is registered (ex. registers to port 1000), but
when it re-registers the client is set to port 5060. This behavior does
not take place if I use the static files.
Both in my sip_buddies table for db, and sip.conf for static...

Feature request: SIPPEER or IAXPEER equivalent for DAHDI
Hello,
With setvar statements in chan_dahdi.conf, we have a convenient way to
store DAHDI channels specific values.
Unfortunately, we don't have a function to access this data from the
dialplan as easily as SIPPEER ou IAXPEER would for SIP or IAX trunks.
Using AST_CONFIG, you can access DAHDI setvar value but:
1. only one setvar value (see bellow)
2. AST_CONFIG reads values from current config file not previously loaded
file (this is obviously what you would expect from this function).
What do you think of...

Realtime Users/Peers/Friends - Ick
I've been going in circles for a few weeks now with Realtime SIP.
My extconfig.conf has:
sipusers => mysql,dbname,ast_sip_users
sippeers => mysql,dbname,ast_sip_users
When I do a 'sip show peers' I see all my phones. When I do a 'sip show users' I only see a few of them. I can't work out why this is the case. They are also coming up with NAT as 'RFC3581', eventhough I have nat set to NO for every fr...
