Sprint Vision Phones ReadyLink=SIP?
I was playing with a Sprint Vision phone recently and noticed when viewing
the low level ReadyLink configuration screens that there are references to
SIP registrars and the like. Does anyone happen to know if Sprint's
implementation of ReadyLink truly is SIP based, and if so, managed to get it
to interoperate with Asterisk. If so, it would prove to be an interesting
paging mechanism and

SIP + NAT Howto?
Hello Folks-
Pretty new to the list here, got a lot of reading to do.. Does anyone
know where I can find a decent HOWTO or set of instructions for
running
Asterisk and SIP clients thru firewall/NAT systems?
I have a Asterisk box sitting behind a linux firewall at a remote
location
and have the 5060 and etc ports open as well at 16381-16391 UDP open
and
routed to the Asterisk box as well. I have

Understanding NAT Traversal
Quick question re. NAT traversal.
I understand how sitting behind a NAT could cause problems for a SIP UA.
The SIP UA would create SIP mesages using IP addresses from inside the
network (i.e. 192.#.#.# or 10.#.#.#) and these IP addresses are of course
unnavigable for the recipient.
What I don't get is why don't web browsers suffer the same problem?
