Homer SipCapture
Is anyone using Homer from sipcapture.org or anything like it for capture

Thanks

[OT] Overview of Homer installation on Debian Stretch
Hello,
I've discovered homer-api-postgresql and homer-api-mysql packages in
Stretch repo.
I'm not sure I understand how Homer-API relates to Homer.
My questions are:
1. What is the simplest available installation option to install Homer on a
dedicated box, this dedicated box gathering data from one or several
Asterisk systems on the same LAN ?
2. Is it possible to centralize data on a

and dig what's usefull is not very productive
btw we are using tools like sipcapture.org,voipmonitor.org,
callstats.io, elasticsearch+filebeat, ... but without informations whats
happening inside asterisk is harder to solve problems

I must say, that I'm not an expert in VoIP, so I really don't know this
tool and don't have any idea how to analyze the problem...

Turn on SIP debugging from DialPlan
The SIP trace will be adequate but this is on a remote system with limited
disk space.
I would love to turn on debugging while making the troublesome calls, then
turn it off afterward.
Tcpdump is great, but starting it and stopping it and keeping all that data
would still be an issue.

VoIP monitoring tools
Hello all,
The question isn't directly related to Asterisk, but I'm looking for
recommendations
for a monitoring tool to monitor the health of Asterisk instances running
in Production.
Ideally, the tool should be able to generate monitoring traffic (OPTIONS
ping or INVITE),
use the response/no response from Asterisk to store the health of an
Asterisk instance running
somewhere in the DB.
