X100P and BT Caller ID
...ted to a BT line)? I guess that it
probably won't work at present because BT sends the CID information before
the first ring - hence there is no event to wake up the channel. I can hear
it using ztmonitor, but it is far too soon for anything to receive it.
According to the BT specs (http://www.sinet.bt.com/227v3p3.pdf and
http://www.sinet.bt.com/242v2p2.pdf) the CID information is sent using V.23
following a line reversal and alert tone. Are either of these events
detectable on the X100P? Can asterisk use this information directly or would
it require a code change?

UK call initiating party hangup control on analog home lines
I suppose this is rather an informative e-mail than a question. However if
people had similar experiences or could comment what the differences are in
other countries or with business analog lines, it would be interesting. It took
me a week until a BT engineer was sent to my home home, since BT tech support
was unable to provide information about the problem.

Sipura 3000 FXO with Asterisk
Anybody using a Sipura 3000 for FXO with Asterisk?
Mine is working except for one small nit...
When a call comes in from the PSTN, the Sipura answers it and then passes
it on to Asterisk, which plays extension ring tone.
I'd prefer for the POTS line to stay on-hook while the extension rings, and
to only be answered by the Sipura when the extension answers.
Has anybody made this work?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a method (or if it's possible) to use R
in interpolating Landsat ETM+ data gaps?

rsync 3.0.5 Appears to be Transferring Unchanged Files
I have been using backuppc (rsync protocol) to backup up a Linux web
server onto a local server for a number of years. I recall that data
volumes were quite low (about 40MB), regardless of whether I was doing
full or incremental backups. I recently switched to both a new web server
and backuppc server. Early morning traffic volumes when backuppc runs are
much higher than expected - I have
