Hello I have a samba PDC in an office with folder redirection. The people wants to access their files remotely, so i have set up a simple hamachi VPN. The clients can connect and sinchronize their files, but its extremely slow. Is it posible to make a second samba server in a high speed datacenter sinchronized with the office one? Can anyone give me some info about how to do that? Thank you

...about 5k domain clients with 5k workstations and servers in the center. The number of domain clients could be increased to 15k. The samba4 configuration has to be replicated in all the centers. Besides the domain logons and the dns queries, we also have serveral applications that pull the ldap for sinchronize data and/or access control. The traffic for replications, sinchronization, logons, searches, access control, etc, is high, so the load in the servers is as high as the traffic. Has anybody such a scenario? Which could be the hardware specifications needed for the samba4 servers? Any suggestions...

Hi, i have a samba server as PDC in my office. Now, some co-workers wants to access their files from outside. Making a VPN does not work because my office has a crappy connection. Is it possible to install a BDC in a datacenter for the remote people?

Then why ONE sound card have different capture and playback rate? It must be ONE single physical clock generator which is used by both ADC and DAC in the sound card, isn't it? If you are a hardware engineer. Will you design two different physical clock for ADC and DAC seperately? What on earth causes this problem? Who knows its intrinsic real reason?
