help on package or code for simutaneous equation probit(logit) model
Dear List I am trying to fit a simutaneous equation logit model. i.e., the response variables of the structured equations are binomial, I am not sure if systemfit can do this job. A google search doesn't yield too much helpful information. Your knowledge on any other packages or codes are appreciated. Thanks will

Asterisk Manager API - Originate command
Hi all, Just ran into some issue with the originate AMI command. It seems that there is a limit of around 120 calls I can place with the originate command simutanously. By that I mean sending Asterisk a lot of originate command very fast. Anyone know if there is a limitation? Thnx. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

One Extension - Two Calls?
I'm trying to figure out how to allow an extension to register more than once. For instance, I have all of these 4 line IP phones that I use with Asterisk and I would like to have a persons extension (say 101) ring at all four lines so that if the person is on the phone they can take another call, but it appears as though if you try to register the same extension more than once then the most

Detecting p2p traffic
After varying degrees of success with p2p detection modules, I would like to write the following rules using iptables to reliably identify p2p traffic: 1. If a host on the network has 5 or more simutaneous tcp connections to ports above 1024, mark all connections to ports 1024 and above as 60. 2. If a host has received (or sent) UDP packets from 5 different hosts'' ports above 1024 in a

suggestions for eventlog feature
...e text directly with a command-line switch (or even be smart enough to recognize that it isn't getting multi-line text and switch to the correct mode automatically). Going beyond that, it would be nice if the event logger was a multi-threaded daemon, that was capable of reading multiple inputs simutaneously. Currently each input has to use at least two processes (not counting the master process that starts each of the source-specific converter child processes), which further adds to the fragility. Going plus-plus on that, it would be really nice if the multi-threaded event logger daemon could simply...

Files Updates
Hi, I have an Informix program that unload data to a file in a samba directory. Problem is although the file has changed, I still see the old data from my Windows 98 SE PC. I only see the updated data after refreshing the snmba directory numerous times. Sometimes I have to wait for more that 10 minutes !! Funny thing is this problem does not apply to my friend's PC. Why is this so and

SPA3k wired to PAP2 for echo testing
In my seemingly endless search for the cause of echo on my SPA3000, I wired it up in the following configuration: Analogue Handset <--> (FXS)SPA3000(FXO) <--> PAP2 And set the Line1 dialplan on the SPA3k to '(<:@gw0>S0)' which means that as soon as I pick up the handset I get linked straight through to the PAP2, which gives me dialtone. Even in this configuration, with

[Bug report] Chinese characters are not handled correctly in Rterm for Windows
Hi Tomas, Sorry for the delayed response. I have tested the problem on the latest R-devel build (2018-04-27 r74651), and it still exists. RGui is always fine with Chinese characters, but some IDEs rely on the CLI version of R (e.g. Visual Studio Code with R plugin). >Your example print("ABC\u4f60\u597dDEF") is printing two Chinese characters, right? Yes. U+4F60, U+597D or C4E3,
