[BUG] boot failure since syslinux-3.00
Hi, This AMD Elan board seems to be very problematic: http://www.embeddedarm.com/products/board-detail.php?product=TS-5500 I'm having various issues with booting recent Linux kernels with syslinux. syslinux-2.13 was the last version that worked and since syslinux-3.00 it doesn't work. When it doesn't work all I get is "Boot failed" from the bootsector. Since the obvious

Problem with gettext and functional tests
Hi, I am using gettext to let my web application know several languages. All works fine, but since I integrated it, my functional tests don''t work any more. I keep getting the error message: NoMethodError: undefined method `cgi'' for #<ActionController::TestRequest:0xb77f7f88>. All right, TestRequest doesn''t have a cgi method. Therefore I just included this into

RTP stream not passing through router with port forwarding
...r and sends rtp there) but problem arises when i dial using IP:Port combination like this Dial(SIP/adf at 116.79.x.x:5678) In this case INVITE is sent to router ip instead of local ip through router. INVITE sip:adf at 116.79.x.x:5678 SIP/2.0 (asterisk sends rtp to router ip and not local ip) Similerly TO header also has same ip as INVITE. I think in IP dial rtp is not reaching to local ip through router as INVTE is meant for router ip and asterisk does not know where to send rtp stream after sending it to router. how can this issue be resolved? is there something to be done at router confiurati...

density estimates for fixed points
Problem: Based on a n x 2 data matrix i want a kernel estimate of the bivariate density. However, i also wish to specify wich points the density should be calculated at. I can offcourse just write the full kernel density estimate as a R-code, but surely there must already exist some package for this operation? The package density(), seems to create a new matrix (depending on n), where the

IPv6 and IPv4 binding address on a server with 2 network cards

According to asterisk documentation: /; With the current situation, you can do one of four things:/ /; a) Listen on a specific IPv4 address. Example: bindaddr=192.0.2.1/ /; b) Listen on a specific IPv6 address.

SE of difference in fitted probabilities from logistic model.
I am fitting a logistic binomial model of the form glm(y ~ a*x,family=binomial) where a is a factor (with 5 levels) and x is a continuous predictor. To assess how much ``impact'' x has, I want to compare the fitted success probability when x = its maximum value with the fitted probability when x = its mean value. (The mean and the max are to be taken by level of the factor
