Package simex
Dear R-helpers,
It is not clear to me how you get measurement.error SD when you have a
single dataset, and it is not clear to me how sensitive SIMEX is to
errors in the estimates of measurement error.
Could someone please point me to the relevant literature?

How to Extract Information from SIMEX Output
Below is a SIMEX object that was generated with the "simex" function from the
"simex" package applied to a logistic regression fit. From this mountain of
information I would like to extract all of the values summarized in this

equivalent R functions for Numerical Recipes fitxy and fitexy ?
Dear Folks,
We need to fit the model y~x assuming there are random errors in both
x and y. Numerical Recipes (Press et al.) have two useful functions,
fitxy and fitexy, which handle cases of unspecified and specified
errors respectively.
Are there equivalent functions in base R or a installable package?
Alternatively, has anyone written a wrapper to provide an interface to

Linear Models: Explanatory variables with uncertainties
One of the assumptions, on which the (General) Linear Modelling is
based is that the response variable is measured with some
uncertainties (or weighted), but the explanatory variables are fixed.
Is it possible to extend the model by assigning the weights to the
explanatory variables as well? Is there a package for doing such a
model fit?
Thanks

package for measurement error models
Hi, R-helpers,
I am working on a problem of measurement error modeling. (I am new to this
filed)
The model I am dealing with is simple. Consider a linear regression y= beta0
+ beta1 * x + error, in which x is measured with errors. (the variance of
errors are known. )
I looked up the package simex, and the method is simulation-extrapolation
estimation. So I was wondering that if there is any existing package that
using maximum likelihood approach to estimate the coefficient.
Any suggestions and helps are highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Carrie--

diagonal matrix, array attributes and how to keep from setting an attribute on "NULL"

seems without further explanation:
In order to demonstrate replicated observations, we make use of another set of
data generated at dierent initial conditions. We then need
concatenate these ob-
servations in time, and create new values for bvals and weights. The function
diag.block from the simex package is used below, but there are several packages
in R that provide block-diagonal matrices.
I have a feeling this diagonal matrix is a component of R analysis
that, if corrected here,
could produce results, and I would be grateful if anyone who has
experience with its use
could offer some he...
