truncated regression out-of-sample predictions
Dear all, I am trying to implement Simar & Wilson's (2007) second algorithm and have the following question: If I use a truncated regression on the m<n observations, how do I get fitted values for all n observations, instead of for m observations, which is what the command fitted returns; I would need these to construct the lef...

Hi, I am trying to run some bootstraps with the boot package. When I run it with 400 replicates it does it ok, but then I need to run the same analysis but with 89, 86, 102 and 106 samples (for four different environments), and then is when I get the error message: > mybootstrap <- boot(Datos, mystat, 2000) Error in t.star[r, ] <- statistic(data, i[r, ], ...) : number of items to

Hopefully this is an interesting question. I have a "user" table with a field "email_address". I would like the part of "email_address" after the ''@'' to be a foreign key to a "companies" table populated by a companies that are clients. Any pointers on how to do this in rails? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You

using Linux as a NAS / SAN device
Hi, I'm looking at using Linux as a NAS / SAN device, and would like some input from other's who have done this before? How would it compare to commercial SAN devices, Thecus N8800SAS (http://www.thecus.com/products_over.php?cid=11&pid=177&set_language=english) or something similar to these? I would probably use hardware RAID 10, and could go with either SAS / SATA, and then
