Creating client certificates
I testing Puppet 0.19.3. If we decide to use it, we''d deploy it
across several thousand hosts. The method described for creating
client certificates described in the documentation - running
"puppetd --server <server> --waitforcert 60 --test" and "puppetca
--sign <client>" - is not practical for our installation. I''ve

Your proposed timeline is reasonable and I don't see any major things to
improve there. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions
related to my comments (either here or in the document).

[PATCH] nouveau: offload fence uevents work to workqueue
...a bit more
structure in scheduler apis instead of just allowing drivers to hand in
shared wq pointers. Something like a struct drm_sched_domain, which
contains the wq + a list of drm_sched for it. Would also make stuff like
reliably stopping the right amount of schedulers in tdr much more robust.

PostDomTree). Please correct me if I am wrong. :D
I am preparing to submit the proposal to GSoC this week. At the same
time, I will try to figure out something about the way to prune
redundant PostDomTree updates.
I am looking forward to your reply.

Breaking synchronization between two trees inside the updater class sounds
like something we really want to avoid.

variable dispersion in glm models
Hello,
I am currently working with the betareg package, which allows the fitting of a variable dispersion beta regression model (Simas et al. 2010, Computational Statistics & Data Analysis). I was wondering whether there is any package in R that allows me to fit variable dispersion parameters in the standard logistic regression model, that is to make the dispersion parameter contingent upon some covariates. I know that glm()...

Should Verifier be an analysis?
Hello all,
I came across the code of Verifier, and see that it doesn't modify the IR
at all. Why it is not considered as an analysis pass?
Actually, this will have impact on debugify-each and
print-before/after-all: we are not supposed to print/debugify Verifier
pass, but since Verifier is declared as a transformation (well, a
non-analysis) pass, we actually do print/debugify it.

Fwd: Any chance that Crossover will solve my problem
Hello,
I developed an application that I would like to run in linux. It is
developed part in VB6 part in C++ (using VS 6 and VS 2005) and uses
Codejock's components for the UI. The installer is built with
InnoSetup.
I managed to install it on Suse 9.3 with Wine 0.9.17 but I got errors
(cannot load DLL) while registering msxml, capicom, and one of my VS
2005 dlls. I fixed the msxml

Suggestion - table of QoS mechanisms
Hi,
A thought for the list. As I mentioned in another
posting, there are a lot of QoS mechanisms out there.
Linux supports some, but not all. Some patchsets add
others, but don''t work for all kernels. There are also
userland implementations, usually sitting in software
routers, but there are other packages.
Would it be helpful if I worked on a table of what''s
out there for
