How Ogg mappings translate into the codecs parameter in Ogg media types
Silvia, I don't think I follow your line of thought. On 5/27/08, Silvia Pfeiffer <silviapfeiffer1 at gmail.com> wrote: > I was just having a thought this morning: we should probably include > the version information into the codec identification bits. Planning of next challenges for Firefox
Fellow open video enthusiasts, Chris Blizzard just suggested that with all the Xiph developers attending the OpenVideoConference, we should all get together and discuss the next things to attack for Ogg Theora/Vorbis in Firefox. I think that's a great idea. Assuming that everyone stays for the hackfest on Sunday, we picked 10am on Sunday for a thorough discussion and planning session (1-2

I agree - we should use only hex or octal, but not mixed. Cheers, Silvia. How Ogg mappings translate into the codecs parameter in Ogg media types
Hi all, I am trying to set up the codecs table in the wiki and we have played a bit with Dirac to find out what existing tools write into the header. The Schroedinger implementation by Fluendo uses (or used to use) "KW-DIRAC" as the identifier in the Ogg header. "BBCD" is the identifier of each of the Dirac data packages. More recently, I read that the Dirac Sequence header

final changes to mimetypes rfc
Hi all, The IETF has a final draft of our RFC at ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/authors/rfc5334.txt (yes, it goes from 3534 to 5334 - funny!). If you have anything in need of change, speak up now. I have one question in particular: Ogg.k.ogg.k: is the kate codec parameter now down to 8 bytes? If so, it's ok, since I've already made that change. Cheers, Silvia.
