Hello, Whenever I reatart samba on my bsd or my linux machines windows 98 network neighborhood looses either machine, I've got samba set up as a wins server, and the 98 machine pointing to it, but this doesn't help. The 98 machine can see it's own shares, but not the samba server, any ideas? I'm running 98, freebsd 3.4 release, slackware linux 7.0 and samba 2.05 and 2.06. Thanks.

Good morning, I'm fairly new to samba and I installed Samba on my Unix box and it works fine. I'm starting to setup users on the user.map. I'm having trouble setting it up. Can you give me some Information on what steps I need to follow to get the users setup with passwords? Thanks
