[PATCH] xen: initialize xen panic handler for PVHVM
kernel use callback linked in panic_notifier_list to notice others when panic happens. NORET_TYPE void panic(const char * fmt, ...){ ... atomic_notifier_call_chain(&panic_notifier_list, 0, buf); } When xen aware this, it will call xen_reboot(SHUTDOWN_crash) to send out an event with reason code - SHUTDOWN_crash. xen_panic_handler_init() is defined to register on panic_notifier_list but we only call it in xen_arch_setup which only be called by pvm, this patch is necessary for pvhvm. ''xm list'' states
Hi, can someone explain the states shown by the ''xm list'' command? ''r'' (running) - The domain is currently running. - This flag is always shown for the Domain 0, but never for unprivileged domains, why? ''b'' (blocked) - The domain is blocked. - What does that mean? Why should a domain be blocked? ''p'' (paused) - The domain

[PATCH v2 0/6] Support calling functions on dedicated physical cpu
Some hardware (e.g. Dell Studio laptops) require special functions to be called on physical cpu 0 in order to avoid occasional hangs. When running as dom0 under Xen this could be achieved only via special boot parameters (vcpu pinning) limiting the hypervisor in it's scheduling decisions. This patch series is adding a generic function to be able to temporarily pin a (virtual) cpu to a

[PATCH] libxl: fix compile error of libvirt
a, libxl_event.h is included in libxl.h. So, the former one also need to be installed. b, define __XEN_TOOLS__ in libxl.h: the head file "xen/sysctl.h" need check this macro.
