Samba 2.2.3a SHOWSTOPPER!
I have a *big* problem with Access 2000 running on a Windows 2000-SP2 PC
on 2.2.3a.
The error:
"Visual Basic for Applications Project in This Database is Corrupt"
I have a log level 10 of the 2.2.3a samba for that machine.
Then, I returned to 2.2.2 and did the same thing (log level 10). No error!
When I go back to 2.2.3a, I can create the problem over and over again.

BugetTone Bug Showstopper,
I have setup Grandstream to connect to my Asterisk Server. All the digits 0-9 are accepting dtmf. But When I try to send the call by Pressing # Key, nothing happens. Does anyone has a standard configuration for Asterisk and Grandstream as a PDF file or something to see.
How do you send the connect signal?

Winbind showstopper!
Hello all,
First off, let me say I've been using Samba successfully since '98. Except
for a few minor issues here and there it's worked quite well. So, thank you
for an excellent product.
Last weekend I migrated an existing Samba file/print server to a brand new
server. This included upgrading Samba from 3.0.7 to 3.0.14a.
I've successfully been using winbind to authenticate

SVG showstopper
We seem unable to get SVG running under Rails with apparent memory
conflicts between the SVG xml object and parameters. For us, unless we
can get SVG running okay under Rails, it is a showstopper for us to use
Rails.
There seem to be only 2 examples out there for SVG, the graph project
that actually converts SVG to another image format (way too
cumbersome/unworkable for our needs) and the

Syslinux 4.00-pre59 -- last call for 4.00
Hello everyone,
I have just released Syslinux 4.00-pre59. This is intended as last call
for 4.00: from this point on I will only fix showstopper bugs. Anything
that didn't make this release will have to wait for 4.01 or 4.10.
Please help test it and report bugs, so we can avoid said showstopper
bugs in the actual release. Target date for final release is Monday,
June 28.

Centos 8 Mate?
Without wanting to sound too pushy, I'm wondering if there is any update on the status of Mate now that Centos 8 has been released?
I would love to jump on C8 and start playing with it, but the lack of Mate is kind of a showstopper for me at the moment.

[LLVMdev] Showstopper on Visual C
struct X86AsmPrinter is in an anonymous namespace, but printInstruction
is declared in namespace llvm. try editing the tablegen output to move
X86AsmPrinter::printInstruction into an anonymous namespace, not llvm.
I suspect this will at least fix the first problem. Then we can figure
out the proper longterm fix.

[LLVMdev] [3.6 Release] RC4 has been tagged
Hello testers,
RC4 has just been tagged (at r229782 on the branch).
RC3 was disqualified due to an infloop that Duncan reported, and fixed
in r229421. That, fixes for a few scary X86 bugs, a GCC5 bootstrap
problem (PR22625), and parts of PR22589 is included in RC4.
Baring any showstoppers, this release candidate will be promoted to release.
Please let me know how it looks and upload binaries as usual.
Thanks,
Hans

patch for password expiration under Solaris?
I'm looking to move some Solaris 2.6 and 7 machines to openssh.
Showstopper bug: openssh (up to 3.1p1) doesn't seem to correctly
implement expired passwords.
Looking back through the archive, it looks like Dave Dykstra submitted
a patch for this problem relative to an older version of openssh at
least as early as last August:

[LLVMdev] Showstopper on Visual C
Hi all,
Well, suggestion for workarounds for the namespace problems are
welcome... this is a 7 minutes compile files on a pentium 4 3ghz 700Mb
ram...
The fatal error at the end MAY depend on the previous... or at least, I
hope so.

That may be, but in view of the fact that you can even get a version of CDE that works (very well) on Centos 7 (https://github.com/dcantrell/cderpm if you're interested), I find it

Source RPM please
Hi,
I''m a long ext3 user (rpmfind.net). I propagated ext3 on some of our
server box (W3C webservers are ext3 based too now).
I might be tempted of testing out your kernel RPMs but unavailability
or the source RPM and the SMP version are definite showstoppers. Please
provide them. In the meantime I will stick to my own set of kernel ext3
RPMs at ftp://rpmfind.net/pub/veillard/ext3/

Where is the file that sets aliases?
I was having a problem in a shell script that turned out to be cp being
aliased to 'cp -i'. Not a showstopper, once you realise it, but it did beg
the question as to where this file is. I was told to look in /etc/profile.d,
but that doesn't seem to be the case on my CentOS box. I can list aliases, so
I know the file exists, but where?

Showstopper problem: Winbindd no longer starting
Hi,
I'm running a samba CTDB setup using default Centos 7.2 repos, fully
up-to-date. This is in pre-production so this is quite a nasty problem.
Everything was running fine, including after a package update 1-2 days
ago. However, this morning I can't get winbind started, CTDB times it
out. I've taken the clustering=yes line out of smb.conf, and run winbind
at dedug level from the

You can use --with-ssl-dir for this. --with-ssl-dir=/foo will have
configure try /foo/bin/openssl and /foo/apps/openssl. Otherwise it
just searches $PATH.
Nothing has changed here for the last couple of releases.

- Advice on NetFinity 5000 series
I have an opportunity to pick up a couple of NetFinity 5500's 4 way Xeon
550's w/ 2 gig RAM for very little $$$
I have seen this:
http://www.mail-archive.com/asterisk-dev@lists.digium.com/msg00719.html
In it, there is a passing remark to the Digium cards having problems with
NetFinity's. Can anyone here comment on whether this is still an issue with
* 1.0?
It'd be a bummer if
