Keyboard macros, or another way?
As I am now managing a CentOS server, I've installed 5.4 on a spare
desktop partition. A lot of my work is to copy and paste from various
text fields online and in a local text editor. Therefore, I would like
to define my keyboard's multimedia keys for some functions:
1) Clear field (might be accomplished by Select All then Delete)
2) Cut (standard Ctrl-X clipboard, not X11)
3) Copy

Keyboards
On my new Dell system, it's got a cardreader. More to the point, it's got
an idiot menu key... *right* next to the right control key, and just where
the annoying keyboard design has it cut down from the oversize space bar

Dutch Keyboard Support Problem
Anyone out there with some help on keyboard support.
I have put together a patch to add Dutch keyboard support to wine.
All works fine apart from the '@' key, which is located top left of the
keyboard.
showkey -s reports it as being 0x29 which should be correct as this is
the same as in the main_key_scan table.
On a colleagues of mine keyboard it is however displayed with 'ALT-GR +

telantek.adsi
I am working with the telantek.adsi file, and I was
wondering how I would create a softkey for Transfer.
I tried making a key definition and using SENDDTMF
"#", but that didn't work. Is there another way I
could do this?
Also, does anybody have any ADSI scripts for use with
Asterisk that they would like to share?
Thank you for your time.

noun-verb vs verb-noun aka dogs black vs black dogs
Wow. I wasn't expecting such a voluminous reply -- some I agree with and
some I don't.
My apologies for an equally voluminous reply.

Having problem getting Asterisk to work on CentOS 7
What are you using for the database - SQLite?
I am using mysql (mariadb).
I am not familiar with SQLlite. Can you access the database from the
console - look up the list of tables - display the contents from a
table? Anything to see if your SQLite is working and has asterisk data
in it.
From your Asterisk console,
|CLI> core show help database|
should give you a list of commands that you

How to install programs in wine?
I am a rank newbie to Linux and wine.
I am running Ubuntu Dapper on an AMD 1800 mhz machine, wine 0.9.15
Everything I have read says use the installer to load windows programs.
Where is the installer?
Thanks,
