Shorewall upgrade messed up my firewall
Hi all,
I''m using Gentoo Linux Distribution and I''ve upgraded my firewall
from Shorewall 1.4 to 2.0.4, however my LANs stop having internet
access.
I have a server with shorewall 2.0.4 installed and 3 interfaces.
eth0 and eth1 are interfaces to a LAN and to my laptop and eth2
is the net interface.
I have masq like:

Hi, I am trying to use shorewall as a way for authenticated network
access. I read about dynamic black lists, but is there a way to do
dynamic white lists? I''ve looked through the doc, but couldn''t find it.
Also, could someone please assist me on creating a rule so that all other
failures (ie. the mac is not in the whitelist), requests get forwarded to

sip/iax problem - udp conntrack entries not getting destroyed
Hello all,
I have an asterisk sip/iax peer behind a linux gateway doing nat. I''m using
pppoe with a dynamic ip that changes frequently.
The problem is when the line drops the sip/iax registrations drop as well,
and they don''t register thereafter. When I check the conntrack entries, I
noticed the entries still have the old wan ip address and because of

Is it possible to establish site-to-site VPN using dynamic IP addresss
assigned by ISP ?
