I would stress, test the upgrade first and have a way back readily available, because there are many users here that report basic domain functionality broken for the newly patched versions of Samba... ...along with user smbc_opendir() succeeds in samba-4.5.x. However NT_STATUS_WRONG_CREDENTIAL_HANDLE is new error code(not present in samba-4.1.x). Is the spec changed in latest samba for security concern to not to allow anonymous login. Or is it an issue in the latest samba?
