samba on nfs server or client
Hello all. I hope this question is not too dumb, but
I thought I'd ask it anyway since I'd like to get the
opinion of the samba gurus out there. My question is
this:
-- is it better to run smbd and nmbd on a server that
acts as a NFS server and has disks directly attached to it
or is it better to run samba on a seperate machine that
acts as a client to the NFS server?

Problem executing logon script - PLEASE HELP!
...nt options from smb.conf:
[global]
logon script = kix\logon.bat
domain logons = yes
password level = 16
security = user
strict locking = yes
[netlogon]
comment=Netlogin
path=/usr/local/samba/netlogon
writable=no
write list=pc,@shernet,@system
create mask=0775
browsable=yes
case sensitive = no
Again, this problem happens intermtently, not all the time. And
not from the same client or user. The same client may work fine
for a few logon sessions, then all of a sudden it fails.
Thanks in advance.
