kde on Torus
Hello,
I have 2D-data on a torus, i.e. they are scattered within [0:2pi) and are
supposed to be periodic with period 2pi.
Is there a way in R for a kernel density estimation for such data? I found this
article http://www.dmqte.unich.it/personal/dimarzio/density46.pdf
but
a) I don't fully understand the article (my knowledge in statistics is poor)

plot.circular
Dear all,
I am using plot.circular(x, stack=TRUE) to plot a "histogram" from a list of
angle. I would also like to draw a line from the origin at the angle of the
mean (mean.circular), preferably with the resultant's length (rho.circular) as length.
How do I achieve this on the circular plot, please?
Thanks a lot, Tim
