I'm interested in getting a Chinese optical character recognition program to run under wine. http://www.twinbridge.com/Products/SharpEye/ocr.html According to the web site, it may run on Windows 95 as well as the old Windows 3. Is it therefore safe to assume that it will run under wine? Surely it should be able to handle anything that can run on Windows 3 right? Any advice will be appreciated. Elef.

Thanks to this list and the NWC forum I've got NoteWorthy Composer running. Now (almost) all I need to get off Windows is a functioning SharpEye2, a music OCR program. I've asked SharpEye's author for help and he's working with me on it, but I know it's listed as functioning under Wine and I thought someone here might know how to get it working. If you go to Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced, Troubleshoot, and reduce the hardware acceleration, it may fix the problem.
