Shared namespace is empty after migration to new Dovecot installation
Hi all, I've used most of this weekend finalizing my migration from an old server running Dovecot 2.2.22 to a brand new installation running 2.3.8. In general, the migration was painless, everything just clicked, but checking up on the finer details post migration i've found out that user shared folders does not seem to work anymore, and I simply can't get it to work. The setups

A 'simple' problem?
Here's one for you if you have the time: I very stupidly killed the wrong process on a server on a remote site on Friday and now I cannot ssh login to it! It's not a major problem as it's main functions are as a file and print sharer (samba) and to run postfix/mailscanner, and I can have someone on site reboot the server when they start work on Monday, but I was wondering whether I

Restricting Access to Samba Shared Printers?
Is it possible (and if so, how) within Samba to restrict printers to be using by only certain users/groups? We have a printer dedicated to printing our checks that was using one of those '4 PCs -> 1 printer' devices. We've been constantly having problems with transmissions getting garbled when using the printer sharer (everything's fine if a PC is directly connected), and

...ration]. The problem we are experiencing is that the standard daemon processes [SMBD] are using significantly more CPU [processes that were running a 10% are now running at over 40%]. Has anybody seen or heard of this before or is this a FC4 specific problem. The boxes are primarily Windows file sharers but they do run qmail as well. ...hose that are able to find it. The rationality for this ruling is closely related to radio waves, satellite and tv signals. If it can not be restricted by physical means, there is no point trying to enforce it's capital loss. The closest the RIAA, for example, has come to busting canadian file sharers, netRadio djs and the like, is by going through the canuck version of the FCC. But since our version of the FCC is candian and not american, they have an immense task of getting anything into court. hernt. Nutty hey?

The first thing to do on Wednesday October 20 is to get in on EQTD. It will RISE up next days. There will be at least 100% from the beginning, so do it quick. After the yesterday's promotion the share price raised on 116% and was 0.013. Those lucky devils who bought stocks at the price of 0.006 yesterday have already earned 100% of their investment. And they will make more. Did you think

Konqueror Ajax update
I had been comparing IE and Firefox Ajax performance, and since I have a couple of Unix boxes in my workshop, I threw Konqueror into the mix, and reported here earlier today (or yesterday) that Konqueror ( 3.4.3) could handle Ajax perfectly, at least as far as the simplest AWDWR Ajax example (./example/index) was concerned. It occurred to me to do a more grueling test. I took the

I got icecast up and running over the weekend. Now i have a couple of questions: 1. What can I do so that the record companies do not come after me ? IS it ok to stream mp3 music ? 2. I did some test. Some of my friends players would only play a few seconds and they had to select play to get more data. They were on a slow link. 3. Any other advice you may have. The play is to stream some
