Smbstatus shows same share for same client several times - related to locking issues?
...on the samba server that there is no concurrent access/locking from other computers or users. It looks like the same user holds some lock and is denied to access the document because it?s locked?
In the output of smbstatus I see the same share/pid/ip listed several times with different timestamps

read only - write list
Hello,
I want to share ? directory in read/write access for user1 and in read
access for an user2.
Y try this syntaxe without succes :
[sharerep]
valid users = user1, user2
public = no
browseable = yes
read only = yes
write list = user1
Y try also read only = no but in this case the two users can read/write
samba version 3.0.10
I have not understand something but what ?

winbind loosing the ability to resolve hosts
Hello,
we have an Samba-Server acting as Domain-Member in an Win2003 AD-Domain.
System: Solaris 9
Samba Version: 3.3.5
After a while the winbindd couldn't resolve Host-Names:
[2009/10/16 15:33:36, 3] libsmb/namequery.c:(1971)
