Curved arrows
I'm trying to draw an arrow with a curved shaft on the graph as a straight one looks messy on a detailed graph. I've looked in arrows but it doesn't seem to give an option. larrows doesn't look much more promising. I had a look in the archive and couldn't find anything. Any thoughts? Please help(urgent) - How to simulate transactional data for reliability/survival analysis
Hi friends, I haven't done such a simulation before and any help would be greatly appreciated. I need your guidance. I need to simulate end to end data for Reliability/survival analysis of a Pump ,with correlation in place, that is at 'Transactional level' or at the granularity of time-minutes, where each observation is a reading captured via Pump's sensors each minute. Once

IPKall and FWD
We all know the FWD is NO more available. How to set up IPKALL so that my Inbound number rings on my eyebeam or xlite ? Please help(urgent) - How to simulate transactional data for reliability/survival analysis
In principle what you need to do is the following: - break down the time you wish to simulate into intervals. - for each interval, and each failure mode, determine the probability of an event. Determining the probability is the fun part, where you make your domain knowledge explicit and include all the factors into your model: cumulative load, failure history, pressure, temperature,

Please help(urgent) - How to simulate transactional data for reliability/survival analysis
Thanks Boris and Bret, I was successful in simulating granular/transactional data. Now I need some guidance to transform the same data in format acceptable for survival analysis i.e below format: pump_id | event_episode_no. | event(0/1) | start | stop | time_to_dropout The challenge I'm experience is to generate the 'start' and 'stop' in units of minutes/days from single

Please help(urgent) - How to simulate transactional data for reliability/survival analysis
A small example data set that illustrates your question will be of great value to those trying to help. This appears to be a transformation that you are wanting to do (timestamp to units of time) so a data representing what you have (dput() is handy for this) and one representing what you want to have with any guidance regarding how to use the other columns in you data set (e.g., the event(0/1)).

arrow egdes and lty
Dear R developers, I want to draw an arrow in a figure with lty=2. The lty argument also affects the edge of the arrow, which is unfortunate. Feature or bug? Is there some way to draw an arrow with intact edge, still with lty=2? Example code: plot(1:10) arrows(4, 5, 6, 7, lty=2) Best wishes, Matthias --

Nice Transfer Feature
I just noticed the Aastra 57i do something that I haven't seen before. I called from one phone (phone 1) to the 57i. I answered it. Then, I pressed Transfer and dialed the extension for the third phone (in this case a Cisco 7960 in Sip). I did not answer the Cisco, but noticed the caller ID was showing the Aastra (as expected). I hung up the Aastra to complete the transfer and noticed the

MeetMe and admin users
Hi Is there an option on MeetMe that means the conference room is only available if an admin user is logged in? I've had a look the the application from the asterisk cli but I can't really see what I'm after. Currently using 1.4.17 (deb package) Soon moving up to 1.8.2 (rpm package) Thanks in advance -- Ishfaq Malik Software Developer PackNet Ltd Office: 0161 660 3062

Help to simulate data to model pump failure use case
...would fail 2 times in 3 months, etc. - The failure modes are defined based on the combination of below variables: Failure modes:: -- Bearing damage --> +ve_corr('temprature' + vibration) -- Cavitation --> -ve_corr( +ve_corr(discharge_pressure + flow) + temprature) -- worn shafts --> +ve_corr(discharge_pressure + flow) How should I be generate distributions for the variables listed in the "failure modes" maintaining the correlation stated above. New gastman clone + what else?
I have hired someone to do some work on asterisk for me over the next couple of months, before they start, I would like to get a better idea of what other people need, which I can then dovetail into what I think my own 'requirements' are... Initially, a largish area that I think needs to be worked on is some sort of gastman type interface which will run on MS Windows, and be usable for a

Evolution
When I set up the Evolution mail agent, I could find no way to change the outbound port from 25 to 587. I have to do this due to port 25 being blocked by the cable company. Thunderbird is no problem. Altho I don't particularly use Evolution as a mail agent, there are times when I might use it, but its worthless without being able to send mail out to my server. Did I miss something in
