LDAPS on DC
I'm trying to confirm that LDAP traffic is encrypted on my Samba 4 DC. I
have read and followed https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_LDAPS_on_a_DC
but when I attempt to connect to the DC on port 636 or via ldaps:// or both
via ldapsearch (linux) and ldp (windows) I cannot connect.
Failed tests:
*ldapsearch -I -H ldaps://dc*
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)
additional info: (unknown error code)

Enabling ssl/tls in an Existing DC
Hi
I have already build 2 Domain Controller and they are working fine.
Now I just realized i have not enabled tls and currently i am running it
under 389 port.
now if I build samba4 again with tls support and follow bellow link
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_LDAPS_on_a_DC
will it break my existing DC settings ??
Please let me know, its very important.

LDAPS Configuration

any guide to do it?
For now:
- I've created a CA cert on the server
- I've created the cert and key for the domain pdc
- I've signed that cert with CA cert.
- I've followed the post in samba wiki about LDAPS (
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_LDAPS_on_a_DC).
Now my quesiton is if i've to do anyting on Windows Machines to enable the
LDAPS, because after enable the cert in Samba LDAP I can logon into client
machine (login info is surely cached) but the RSAT tools don't works.
I've tried to add the CA to trust certificates entities, but i&...
