init.data function error
...uot; as described by
Terry Speed's group to normalize microarray data and up until this week
the commands we were using were working fine.
First, we load our data using arrayname<-read.table("filename",
header=T)
and then check that the table is OK.
We format the data list using setup1<-init.data() and usually get a
series of questions to answer about the array design, using setup2<-
init.grid() and then normalize it.
Now when we type in setup1<-init.data() we get: "error: couldn't find
function!"
HELP!!??

Hi,
I have reasoned through and believe the problem is with the PrescheduleNodesWithMultipleUses.

Getting ACLs to work with Samba 3.0.2a
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello!
I'm currently trying to get ACLs to work with my Samba-PDC. I compiled Samba
with the "--with-acl-support"-option and the configure-script says:
checking sys/acl.h usability... yes
checking sys/acl.h presence... yes
checking for sys/acl.h... yes
After install, a "ldd smbd" gives
libacl.so.1 => /lib/libacl.so.1

The code is a kludge to work around a particular symptom of a deeper bug in
the underlying scheduling algorithm. It's entirely possible that you've
found a real bug in it; feel free to chec...

Starting libvirtd cuts off host access to external network
I've spent some hours on this without success - any help greatly
appreciated.
I've just done a new RHEL6 setup, with a KVM guest (first time). The
basic installation works fine until I start libvirtd; at this point, the
host machine loses access to the external network:
step 1: ping from host to network works; external machine on network can
ping both eth0 and br1 on the host

Mounting Linux Samba Shares on Windows when Active Directory Server is down
Hi,
I am running Samba 3.6.19 and making my way through all the Active
Directory documentation. I have joined various Linux boxes to a
Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory domain. Windows 7 users who
log on with their domain accounts can mount the correct shares exported
by the Linux boxes without having to supply any additional credentials.
All working perfectly!
However, I have a
