[Bug 94832] New: Reverse Prime corruption with nouveau using radeon outputs

After startup my desktop runs on the nvidia gpu.
I enable prime with these commands:
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource radeon nouveau
xrandr --output VGA-2 --auto --output DVI-1-0 --right-of VGA-2 --mode
1280x1024
It seems to almost work, but the monitor connected to the radeon gpu is very
corrupted, see attached image.

that in and sticks 100% to the kernel names.
Have a look at https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Optimus/ for some
details on how to set up output offloading. The short version is that
you want to do something like
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0
If that doesn't help, grab the output of
grep . /sys/class/drm/card*-*/status
grep . /sys/class/drm/card*-*/modes
preferably while something is plugged into one of your NVIDIA-attached
connectors. When X first starts, it appears to get an EDID just fine

When I used reverse prime (setprovideroutputsource) the xrandr rotation
'succeeded' but the screens were in normal position.

[Bug 107167] New: constantly firing events while screen attached to NVIDIA card is disabled
...aphics 530 (rev 06)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107GLM [Quadro M2000M]
(rev a2)
The internal display is connected to the Intel card. External display ports are
wired to the NVIDIA card. I'm using the autobind-GPUs Xorg patch so that I
don't have to run `xrandr --setprovideroutputsource` in order to make the
external ports usable.
While I'm away from the system, the monitor gets blanked. While it's in this
state, I see many change events from the NVIDIA device (udevadm monitor output
attached). This exacerbates a memory leak in gnome-desktop that causes clients

Both GPUs drive outputs via "xrandr --setprovideroutputsource nouveau Intel".
Under these conditions, changing monitor layouts works once. Then, when the
laptop is suspended and brought to a different workplace with a different
monitor layout, most subsequent xrandr calls fail. RRSetScreenSize refuses to
work. Example:

[Bug 100139] New: [DRI2][PRIME] nouveau driver cannot find any connected connector
...39 FPS
The glxgears window is black and stay black even after a resize.
I see those messages on dmesg:
[ 12.404679] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: No connectors reported connected with
modes
[ 12.404700] [drm] Cannot find any crtc or sizes - going 1024x768
So I run the following step 6:
$ xrandr --setprovideroutputsource nouveau Intel
But the problem is still the same.
I also try vgaswitcheroo and the switch on discrete card gives me a black
screen too. Fortunately I can switch back to the IGD with my serial line. The
option 'nouveau.runpm=0' do not change the issue, so I guest it's not PM
related....
