Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r801 - in branches/megatec-usb: . drivers
...we could remove the Ablerex subdriver (provided Jon tests the Krauler one to make sure it still works for the Ablerex device). If I understand correctly, the only change needed would be to change {0xffff, 0x0000, get_data_ablerex, set_data_ablerex}, to {0xffff, 0x0000, get_data_krauler, set_data_krauler}, is that correct? -- Peter Alexander Gordeev wrote: > > Author: agordeev-guest > Date: Thu Feb 8 16:43:43 2007 > New Revision: 801 > > Modified: > branches/megatec-usb/ChangeLog > branches/megatec-usb/drivers/megatec_usb.c > Log: > - drivers/megatec_usb.c...

Dynamix 650 VA USB - broken, have rough fix
...0409 and 0x0000, both worked), the UPS happily responds. I got it working for now by hacking away at libusb.c/libusb_get_string and switching it to usb_get_string. I expect this isn't the best long-term solution, because it may change the behavior of some other USB UPSs. Should megatec_usb.c/set_data_krauler just skip the "usb" subdriver function table and go straight for usb_get_string? Or should the usb subdriver be extended with a call that doesn't go through usb_get_string_simple? -- Brian R. Smith bsmith at furbium.com

Dynamix 650 VA USB UPS
Hi, Has anyone had success with the Dynamix 650VA, that uses the USB cable? I can't get megatec_usb to recognize it, I have tried both stable and development versions. Regards Glen Ogilvie
