Windows tinc network no data despite tinc connection
...tmask is 255.255.0.0.
Tinc 1.1pre14 service is running on a Windows host 10.42.2.50.
Public ports are natted through, telnetting public ip port 655 the daemon answers.
On my notebook running Windows 10 I also have tinc 1.1pre14 running.
The server is configured as follows:

Name = serverwin
Interface = VPN
--- hosts\client ---
-----BEGIN RSA PUBLIC KEY-----
xxx
-----END RSA PUBLIC KEY-----

--- tap/tun ---
The virtual network adapter is named VPN and configured for IP 10.42.100.3, subnet 255.255.0.0.
The client is configured as follows:

Interdomain trust problem
...samba docs and noted that it cannot be both wins
server and wins client, but I would like to add NT4 wins server to its
config so it would resolve the correct netbios name. I have also tried
using lmhosts on samba with the following entries:
cat /etc/samba/lmhosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.23.4 serverWIN
192.168.23.4 serverWIN#1b
192.168.23.4 WINDOM#1d
I woul really appreciate any help on that topic.
