Is this a case for STI?
Hi everyone,
We have different populations of people here at our college: Staff,
Faculty, Students, Alumni (and a host of "Other" that I''ll worry about
another day.
I originally had only Staff and Faculty loaded in under a Person model
using a Personnel controller. Now I want to add the students in, so I
thought STI might be the way to go:
class Person < AR::Base

net share add command
howdy all -
I have been experimenting with the net command to do some remote
windows administration. i have been successfully adding users, but i
was wondering if anybody could explain what [targets] signifies in the line:
[RAP|RPC] SHARE ADD name=serverpath [-C comment] [-M maxusers] [targets]
from the net(8) manpage. thanks for your help.

Bug#680511: xcp-xe: autocomplete for sr-probe type=nfs does not provide hints for device-config
Package: xcp-xe
Version: 1.3.2-8
Severity: minor
XCP 0.5,1.0 and 1.1 provides hints for device-config depends on type field in sr-probe, xcp-xapi (xcp-xe) does not.
Difference:
XCP 1.1 behavior:
xe sr-probe type=nfs device-config:[Tab]
device-config: device-config:serverpath=
device-config:server=
xcp-xe behavior:
xe sr-probe type=nfs device-config:[Tab]
(nothing)
Other arguments (outside device-config) is hinted:
xe sr-probe type=[Tab]
dummy ext file iso nfs

In your last email, you mentioned that "after the "badlock" patches, MS applies some checks. ".
1) Do you mean that sending "\\serverpath" type tree connect request is some kind of check sent by windows 7 relevant to the badlock patches? And What does this check for?
2) Are those checks reasonable and normal? As they have affected the normal use of the samba share in my case.
3) Are there any solutions to my problem?

答复: Is the "\\x.x.x.x" type tree connect request a client related feature?
Thanks for your attention, Gaiseric.
Sorry , but I had a little confused. Did you mean that the problem was something relevant with the DNS? However in my impression, I might not do anything about the DNS.
I have some clues that might be helped:
1) First of all, my samba server version set is "max protocol = SMB2", and the final protocol according to the negotiation result is smb2.10.
