Creating a reverse socket often (not always) fails.
...ny help would be very appreciated, Ive traced it down this far and could use some further pointers if possible. Seems an obscure problem at this stage.
Thank you.

Multiple (multiplexed) simultaneous ssh connections - Cygwin bug?
Hello,
?
I need to make many (>50) ssh connections from linux to cygwin at the same time. Using Windows 2000 Server (OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 0.9.8b and updated cygwin) and Linux RHEL4 (OpenSSH_3.9p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7a).
?
It's been difficult to optimize many simultaneous connections. Here were some issues:
1.?????? On Windows XP/Professional, Microsoft intentionally cripples the TCP/IP stack.

Cisco vs. 6.9
After upgrading a Linux system from OpenSSH 6.7 to 6.9, Cisco
switches/routers can no longer scp config files to/from the system. The
last debug entry before the Cisco device closes the connection is "debug1:
server_input_channel_open: confirm session". The next line is "Connection
closed by x.x.x.x". Anyone else seen this or know of a fix? The Cisco
device gives "Undefined error" when scp'ing a config file from the server,
and "Permission denied" (probably not the correct error message)...

two minor memory leaks
I think I've found two minor memory management issues (neither
exploitable in any way) in OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 that should probably be
addressed.
In serverloop.c, function server_input_channel_open(), the ctype
variable is a char *, dynamically allocated in packet_get_string. It's
xfree'd at the end of the function. However, before that, it's passed
to server_request_session/server_request_direct_tcpip, which call
either channel_new or channel_connect_to, passing in ctype....

I get the following error:
