mixing tcp/ip and ib/rdma in distributed replicated volume for disaster recovery.
...le Let's assume I have a total of 6 storage servers and bricks and want to spread them across 2 buildings for DR. server1-3 are in building1 server 4-6 are in building2. I create a distributed replicated volume and make sure that server1 replicates to server4, server2 to server5 and server3 to server6. I have this running today and it's working reasonably well. Now I have a couple of high performance compute systems in the server room of building 1 are currently using glusterfs to talk to the gluster storage cluster. Throughput is great, latency not so. I believe I have 2 options: 1. connec...

Centos 5.3 Kernel panic with fuse and glusterfs.
...fs and Fuse. Across the cluster of servers, we are experiencing roughly 1 panic every 1-2 days. This wasn't a problem with earlier servers where we used Fedora 6. Here's a kernel panic screenshot: http://imagehost.gr/images/c5ad2d5jzgpgoq91v24y.png Here's some general info: Linux server6 2.6.18-128.1.10.el5 #1 SMP Thu May 7 10:35:59 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Using: fuse-2.7.4-8_10.el5 fuse-kmdl-2.6.18-128.1.10.el5-2.7.4-8_10.el5 fuse-libs-2.7.4-8_10.el5 glusterfs-common-2.0.1-1.el5 glusterfs-client-2.0.1-1.el5 glusterfs-server-2.0.1-1.el5 I've straced glusterfs...

How to migrate a huge AD 2003 domain to samba 4 ?
...server3.domain Domain role owner server3.domain PDC role server1.domain RID pool manager server1.domain Infrastructure owner server1.domain We have a server2.domain which acts like server 1 backup. Then we have server4.domain, server5.domain, server6.domain, server7.domain which acts as GPO / sysvol replicators to other ~ 200 domain controllers. Each one of that 200 domains controlllers (call it Office Domain Controllers) have attached like 20 - 30 windows clients. Let call server{1,2,3,4,5,6,7}.domain "cpd Domain Controllers") Our...

Yeah i meant that only. But MPD is not working well in Windows. Can you elaborate other types for creating database ?? Can we fetch songs from that database on user demand? Packet capture to analysis the tinc connection close
...top line failed if a1 down : client1 > a2 > h1 if a1/a2 down : client1 > a3 > h1 if a1/a2/a3 down : client1 > server4 The above is the setup will cause irregular tinc down events, and when the event happens, the client1 drop all connections to a1/a2/a3/server4/server5/server6, but the connections between a1/a2/a3 to h1/h2/server1/server2/server/3 are pretty stable. But after I changed the tinc topology to this: https://ibb.co/eOS4ZF <https://ibb.co/eOS4ZF>, the connection from client1 to a1 is much stable, never drop after couple of days…. > On 14 Sep 2017...

Yes. You need a server and a programming to the list that users might be able to pick songs. Like this... <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href=" http://server6.reliastream.com/theme/widget_ondemand.css" /> <div id="cc_on_demand_content">Loading...</div> Mit freundlichen Gr??en Scott Winterstein EMAIL: 0turn1 at gmail dot com On Thu, Oct 9, 2014 at 2:15 PM, Neha Arora <neha1451 at iiitd.ac.in> wrote: > Yeah i mean...

Packet capture to analysis the tinc connection close
I don't know why, but for my case, I reduced the tinc topology from a complex one(which provide layered redundancy) to a very simpled one(one connection), and that connection drop disappeared. Later, let me draw the topology and share the config to you to see if there's any findings of the cause. Guus Sliepen <guus at tinc-vpn.org>于2017年9月14日 周四上午3:20写道: > On Wed, Sep 13, 2017

.../ Hi All, I attempted to issue a rpm -ba samba2.spec to build a Samba 2.2.0 rpm for my eServer 2.3 machine (what I have been doing is just compiling the tarball with the needed options and installing that) :-) Anyways, I get the following messages when I attempt the rpm -ba samba2.spec: [root@server6 OpenLinux]# rpm -ba ./samba2.spec line 189: Package does not exist: %Description debug now if I comment out the Description debug stuff, I get somewhat farther: -rw-r--r-- samba-bugs/samba 1044 2000-06-22 23:21 samba-2.2.0/testsuite/smbd/sec_ctx_utils.h -rw-r--r-- samba-bugs/samba 2082 2000...

Are you using WINS? Without it, you can only see machines that are on the local subnet. If all your clients point to the same Wins server, then you should be able to see everything. The Samba server can be a Wins serve...
