Quota errors
Hi,
On our 2-nodes cluster (ubuntu server 12.04 LTS, 64bits 3.2.0-24-generic
kernel, ocfs2 1.6.3-4ubuntu1 package), things seem to run nicely.
But /var/log/kern.log on both nodes is constantly showing the errors below :

Yeah. I saw that and tried this already. But it needs to be adjusted to
libvirtd-1.1.2 i think. Can you do this? I fiddled a litte bit around
but wasn't realy successfull.

Recently joined 2k3, shut down primary, seized roles, now have slight dns (maybe) problem.
...roles (fsmo seize)
Changed SOA to point to samba
Deleted old DCs objects from ldb (ldbdelete)
Deleted old records from dns (nsupdate)
Everything seems to be working fine except for dns management.
We cannot manage dns from RAT dns which says it cannot contact the samba
host "Active Directory service was not found". Made sure dnsrpc was running
on samba, but it wont connect.
We can create/delete records using nsupdate and samba-tool, but some
records we cannot manage. When running some specific queries (or
updates/deletes) samba-tool will exit with message:

Samba with CTDB able to serve non-clustered data?
Hi,
I'd like to set up a HA Samba server that serves out data from NFS mounts.
I was thinking that CTDB was the thing to do use but it is only mentioned
with serving clustered file systems like Gluster, Lustre, etc. Is there a
way to set up a HA Samba server without a clustered file system?
Thanks,
Steve

DFS question
Was wondering if someone could tell me if this is correct. I want to
set up some DFS shares. I have 3 servers with SAMBA/LDAP on them. My
first is basically my PDC and the other two are my BDCs. I assume that
I will have to set all of this up on each server, so that no matter
which server catches the logon, the logon script will get run. Also, if
one of the servers was to go down for a bit, the o...

Asterisk, QSIG and Tenovis PBX?
Hi,
we are still trying to properly connect a Tenovis PBX to an Asterisk server
(asterisk 1.2.6, libpri 1.2.2, zaptel 1.2.5, Digium Wildcard TE110P), this
time with QSIG.
Calling from a Tenovis phone to a SIP phone (i.e. traditional phone ->
Tenovis PBX -> QSIG -> Asterisk -> SIP phone) works with the following

Invalid or corrupt kernel image
Hi,
I am trying to setup my own PXE boot server. I tried several PXE bootable Linux-Distributions.
For example if I use the ubuntu netboot image from [1] it works quit well but there are a few other images they do not work in my case e.g.: RIPLinuX [2]. A friend tested this image on his PXE boot server with success. I also checked the download...

static file serving
Hi,
I''ve got 40 mongrels running across 4 machines with a hardware load
balancer as a proxy. The mongrels serve everything, even files.
How screwed am I if I have a 2MB file on my site? Say 40 people are
downloading that file. Are the mongrels completely locked up?

The used TFTPD works fine with BIOS machines.
I have two Initrd images. One is 64bit and almost 90MB and the 32bit is
85MB.

problem serving pdf files
I''m using the instructions from
http://blog.codahale.com/2006/06/19/time-for-a-grown-up-server-rails-mongrel-apache-capistrano-and-you/to
configure mongrel_cluster with apache mod_proxy_balancer. Everything
works fine, except when I try to link to a pdf file to be opened in a new

Now..Zed earlier...pointed that, why the hell..your mongrel is serving
static content.Well, thankfully earlier logs were from mongrel running
standalone in development mode.
But how about the above? why I am still getting these logs? Are my static
pages served by mongrel:
