It works fine when I am creating a new presentation, but when I am opening old presentations it freezes after displaying the first slide and I am unable to even exit from ppoint. I'm trying to run the Ardis Cutting Optimizer under wine but it uses a Rainbow Sentinel driver to detect a parallel port dongle for copy protection. I have the dongle and I've installed the sentinel driver, but when I run wine COWIN.exe I get the following: fixme:vxd:VXD_Open Unknown/unsupported VxD L"sntnlusb.vxd". ...e deadlock message (see above). Even just moving the mouse inside of Powerpoint produces these messages. But its still reacting. Does anyone have experience with "central" installations of MS-Office or those deadlock messages. Any hint may help. Thanks a lot for your attention. Thomas Serries
