I like the idea but I don''t understand how this patch can work:
1) You never put a name into `serial_devices[]'' for the summa port.
The loop in `main'' that initializes the serial devices only calls
`qemu_chr_open'' if there''s a string name in `serial_devices''. How did
you get this to work?
2) Minor point, I don''t see the need for the `serial_summa...

I am running a Debian Squeeze Xen 4.0.1 Hypervisor and 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 dom0.
My xen-tools.conf:

Attach a GPS in preboot mode
Hello everyone and best wishes for 2023 :)
I have an old *Garmin Drive Smart 50 GPS* and I want to be able to
attach it when it is in preboot mode to a VM hosted by a *Debian 11 host*.
From what I understand, the preboot mode allows us to flash a firmware
before the GPS actually starts (used among other things when the GPS is
soft bricked).
When I connect the GPS to the host it gives:

and placed both above in /boot

I''m running a new Debian Squeeze release 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 with minimal components. I''ve been going through install of Xen as per the documentation for the 4.2.1 release and
